What are you for?

With all the issues of abortion, homosexual marriage, financial armageddon, the ever increasing rise in false doctrine, and the general moral collapse of people in America, its easy to get wrapped up in all the things we are against as Christians. Never has there been a time in my life where I’ve felt more I needed to defend my faith and stand up for what I believe. Over the past few weeks I’ve come to realize that many times I tend to speak out on the issues I’m against more than the issues I’m for. I think that’s a pretty common theme and reality with most Christians these days. We are known for what we stand against, more than what we stand for. I’m making a commitment to myself to spend as much time learning what I’m for, as I do studying the things I’m against. I’m committing myself to speak out against the issues that are wrong, but also speak up on the issues that are right. I wonder what kind of difference it would make in our community if all Christians would do this? Will you join me?
