June 15, 2011 (I Kings 16; II Chronicles 15-16; Colossians 1)
From the Life Journal of Adam Proux:
Scripture: “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” II Chronicles 16:9 NASB
Observation: God sees. Nothing is hidden, nothing is secret. His eyes are constant, consistent and eternal. His desire is to strongly support those whose heart is completely His.
Application: Commit yourself to living life, in a way that pleases God. When His eyes see you, He will be moved by the commitment of your heart. He knows it’s intentions. He will strongly support those whose heart is completely His. That don’t mean everything will always be peaches and cream, but it does mean you have the assurance His eyes are upon you and He will strongly support you.
Prayer: Dear Lord, may your eyes be pleased with what they see in me. Sanctify my actions, thoughts and desires and make them pleasant in your site. Turn my heart completely towards you and strongly support me. You have, I know, and I thank you for that. I know who my strength is! You are my God, and I am yours, in Jesus name, Amen.
