July 10, 2011 (Micah 5-7; Hebrews 7)
From the Life Journal of Adam Proux:
Scripture: “But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.” Micah 7:7 NASB
Observation: Even though the prophecy, Micah has given, is not the most delighting, he has hope in God. He’s waiting and watching expectantly to see what God will do. He has confidence in God as his Savior and knows God hears him.
Application: We would do ourselves well to have the confidence and trust of Micah. Not just waiting, but watching with expectation for what God will do in our lives. Jesus is our only hope. He alone is our strength and salvation. We can trust in Him! And He hears us!
Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for Your many blessing and grace. Thank you for hearing and listening to my prayers. Thank you for being concerned and interested in my life. Draw me close to you, for it’s there that I’m safe. Protect me from the evil schemes of satan and his demons. In Jesus name, Amen.
